Today started the same, cleaning out the cages and feeing all the monkeys in the vet clinic. Had some brekky then we made up the daily supplements for the bears and the otters and went down to the bear enclosure and gave her the food.
Today was a pretty quiet day, we wandered around the clinic and checked up on a few species, caught up with the turtles again to see how they were doing in their new cage, checked up on the crocodile and when he was being fed next. We went to the bird enclosure and were part of a new enrichment program they were trying out, we went around to a few different macaque cages and gave them walnuts to see which species knew what to do with them and most were able to work out how to crack them open, when other species just threw them back at us!
We have a baby civet at the clinic, the vet estimates 10-14 days old so I got to feed her twice today and stimulate her to go to the toilet. We let the baby langur monkeys from the clinic out for a play in the trees which they love - a bit too much, they never want to get back in their cage! Day off tomorrow and a few of us are heading to Hua Hin to spend a few hours at the beach which will be great.
